Another Weekend in Whistler
Fall is coming. We jumped into our car and drove to Whistler. Since the highway is new for the Olympics the driving time is reduced significantly to 1:45h. We stayed at a nice hotel and did some biking and hiking. On the first day we went to Joffre Lake which is about 40 km north of Whistler, a really nice place, especially in fall. Normally we go ski touring in this area (Duffy Lake Road) so it was nice to see how the area looks like during another season.
Seppel at the first Joffre Lake
Winter is on its way, snow is on the ground.
At the second Lake.
The higher we got the more snow was there. It was quite cold. It was a perfect day.
Joffre Lake and Joffre Glacier.
Should go mountaineering here one day.
Want to go for a swim? Probably not today.
Back at the first lake.

We drove back to Whistler and walked through town. This is the brewery.
Whistler Village is car free, quite nice.
Nice fall colours.
This will be frozen pretty soon.

The next day we went to Brandywine Falls.
Now back to work!
